The networking event was hosted by D—Arts, in colaboration with students of the course 'Art production critical of discrimination: practice & discourse'. During the summer semester, the students planned the event together with their lecturer Elisabeth Bernroitner. She is part of D—Arts, which is a project office for diversity, based in Vienna (Austria).
My personal tasks included creating the program together with a small team, writing the text for the flyers, as well as taking pictures during the event.
The goal was, to bring the people of the local art scene in Linz together, to talk about the improvements that are still needed, in order to make art and culture spaces more inclusive and free of discrimination. The three main topics of discussion were racism, queer-phobia, and ableism.
