The video was created in collaboration with my study colleague Lee Busschers. In the Film/Video III course we learned about different visual ways of storytelling, using certain styles of filming.
For this lesson with the theme 'Point of View', Lee and I worked together with the goal to create a video resembling a typical kind of perception of someone with ADHD. For the whole assignment/exercise we only had one day.
Though this was just a rather short and small project, neurodiversity is a very important topic surrounded by many myths and false information, spreading awareness about it will help to create a more understanding society. And I'm planning to work again with this subject more elaborately in the future.
Roles:
Lee recorded the video and acted as the POV character, I played the friend who her character is talking to.
The first rough edit was mostly done by Lee, but we worked together on it for the final version.
