'FATHER WANTS TO SEE YOU'

This assignment during the 1st semester required us to work in groups of three, to translate one page of a film script into a noir photo series and shoot it with an analog camera. 

During the first lesson, Jesse and me came up with first ideas for the storyboard, researched some poster-inspirations, and talked about our background knowledge regarding film noir.

In preparation for the second lesson, we made a conference-call and spoke about our plan for a successful assignment. Also we collected more inspiration-pictures, as examples for lights and angles. 

In the following process, we came up with a characterization, ideas for the costumes, choose a location, drew a second storyboard, and made a shot list.   

The day of the shoot came, and most of it went pretty smooth, especially the photographing itself. Sure, there are always some things that go wrong, but I think I speak for everyone of our group if I say, that we are satisfied with how everything went (and also had a good time together). 

Seb was mainly in charge for the developing process, and Jesse and me worked out two versions of the poster, of which we used mine in the end.
